Vector Graphics
Vector images unlike bitmap images are made up of objects, not pixels. It is created in graphics packages. It is made up in scales, it is possible to edit each scale of the picture. There isn't much memory used, no matter how large the object is. Unlike a bitmap image a vector image is scalable you can rotate it, adjust it, zoom in and zoom out without it actually loosing quality.
